About Justin

Justin Barfield grew up in the surfing and skateboarding community, and that led him to a great understanding of how much fun it can be to live here on the coast.  His skateboard skills developed into five years as a sponsored skateboarder, competing in contests around the country.  A severe ankle injury turned his career into a hobby, but Justin always kept a smile on his face.

Justin’s initial interest in real estate began when his parents purchased two small beach cottages on Topsail Island, and he began visiting the NC coast as a young boy before moving here from northern Virginia when he was nine years old.  Watching his father run a full-service country store drew him into the hospitality industry where he had a solid 14 year career.  He enjoyed three years at the Wrightsville Beach Holiday Inn Resort before his eight years at the Country Club of Landfall, where he gained the leadership and management skills he uses in his real estate career.

The two biggest influences in Justin’s life are his father Bob, who has worked at the local BMW dealership for 20 years, and his mother Tish, who has worked at Laney High School since 2001 (to make sure her three boys got through high school without getting into too much trouble).  Justin says his mother is his hero and the strongest woman he’s ever met, and his father influenced him to be the kind-hearted, hardworking man he is today.

In his free time, Justin loves to travel anywhere and everywhere.  Learning more about how beautiful this planet is excites him.  His goal is to work in real estate for the rest of his life, helping buyers, sellers and investors, while supporting and enjoying the community he loves so much.

Let Justin help you find your next home or your dream home!
